SLIABHBHUI PRINCE 2nd is not only an
exceptional animal to look at, he is extremely docile,
impeccably bred and a producer of quality cattle. His sire
is the world famous Eionmor Mr. Gus 80C who has sired sale
toppers and show stoppers in every country he has been
used: Scotland, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand. Sons in
Australia averaged $16,000. On the maternal side, Prince's
mother coming from the famous Nohoval herd of the late
Art O ' Connor is a super breeding cow, many of the best
cattle at Sliabhbhui trace back to this great matriarch.
She is quality from head to toe, and displays the great
breed character which Prince has inherited. Her pedigree
is steeped in great Irish breeding with Tierlaheen Enda
and Castletroy Way to name but a few of her notable ancestors.
Prince
at just ten months of age impressed the many breeders who
saw him at the 2004 National Ploughing Championships
in Co. Carlow with his tremendous natural fleshing, good
pelvic area, impressive hindquarter, structural correctness
and his great breed character. Prince’s first crop
of calves exhibit thickness, power, growth and style.
